[It had been too quiet when he woke up that morning and shuffled downstairs to get something to eat. Even if Precis was not up early tinkering, he'd usually hear something whirring from her room or Robbie waddling around. But the silence nagged at him, and he's soon turning down from the kitchen towards her room.

Precis' room isn't exactly cleared out, but it's obvious that the attempt was made to collect everything that she had brought inside the room. Books, clothes, shoes, and accessories are gone. Tools are gone. The elevator was still there, but he would have been surprised if the Malnosso took the time to shift that out of existence.

As he numbly walks around the room, he notices a row of numbers on the wall by her main work desk. He stares at it for a long moment, trying to decipher it before remembering that Precis would something cart things into Claude's old room... He heads there, and the meaning of the numbers becomes clear right away.

A safe combination to hide the things she'd left behind. Just like Precis. A ring on a chain. A key for her elevator. Letters and envelopes and... He'd have to go through all of this stuff and sort it out.]

...Geez. You've gotta think of everything, don't you?

[It's about mid-morning when he opens up his journal. He sounds tired.]

Hey everyone, this is Leon. I just wanted to let everyone know that Precis has gone home -- her room's been kinda gutted. She left some letters for people, so... Pilouette, Rin, Shikamaru, Yellow, and Tony Stark. If you'd like to pick up the letters, I can meet you in the Welcome Center or something. Just let me know.

There's also something for Yun. I think it's for Yun, anyway.

[A long pause.] ...Yeah. That's all I've got. Thanks.

Not even close. Especially when your best friends keep going-- sometimes in the blink of an eye.

That's what I thought. [He frowns wryly at the thought.] And then there's that feeling where you're not entirely sure you want them to be stuck in this place again.

Yeah... It's one thing I worry about sometimes. Like, is it selfish to want 'em around with everything we've gotta go through?

I know our bonds'll never break, even if we're apart, but it's just... sad not seeing 'em around when I used to see them every day.

Maybe we can fix that somehow. I mean, you can access their replies to your stuff on the journals and such. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to invest in a video camera or something and just ... record.

If not a video camera, there's always a regular camera, too. Guess I could try using some of my mission points on something like that, if there's nothing at the shop.

I know some people have made scrapbooks and such in the past. It'd be something to keep busy with, too.

Yeah... I know Minako and I were gonna do one, but I guess we just never got around to it.

[Sigh. Minako... Poor kid still misses her even to this day.]

I can't keep putting things off, though. If I do that, I'll never get anything done. It's just easy to get caught up in everything that happens here, y'know?

Yeah, it really is. [He frowns faintly at the thought.] Maybe it'd be something to do right after school or something. Or ... uh. Well, I guess the idea of 'graduating' from school is starting to approach, isn't it?

[Kinda weird how he never thought he'd be here long enough to say something like that.]

You know, I never stopped to think about that...

[Graduating's such a bizarre concept to someone who's only really had his apprentice training as a reference point before.]

Pretty soon, I'll have been here for three years, too, but it sure doesn't feel that way.

Yeah. I mean, it's entirely possible to continue going to school, especially if there's higher studies available, but... The school in Luceti doesn't really serve that purpose. We're kinda growing out of that age range it's focused on.

True... I just dunno what I'll do afterwards, you know? I've got friends, there's the Art Club, and I'm sure there are other things I could do to spice things up.

It's just so weird to think about.

Yeah. It's a good amount of time that's been dedicated just to school ... and then you're getting that back. Not just for some sort of summer break or because of an experiment or something, but ... well, indefinitely, I guess.

We can't really use what we've learned to pick up new jobs, either.

[A beat.]

Well, I guess we could pick up work at one of the places around the village, but I think they'd hire people even without attending school.

[He's not sure what he'll do about his Keyblade training, though.]

School's really just been something to pass the time, for some of us. [Definitely in his case, considering his advanced education.] It's beneficial for the much younger kids, but for a lot of the teens... I dunno. I guess it's been helpful for getting to know people.

I've found it helpful, but you've gotta remember that I lost a bunch of my memories, and I only had four years to pick up the pieces before I came here.

...True. You're kind of a special case in that regard. There wouldn't really be any harm staying in it until you feel you're just getting repeats of the same information.

Hm, that could work... I just wonder if I'll even notice right away. Don't they have to repeat some info as a refresher between breaks?

Yeah, they do. Maybe if you go through a few months without feeling like you're learning anything new outside of ... say, music and world sharing? I know that some people have shown up specifically for those classes.

I guess I'll give it a little time and see how I do. Even if I do run outta stuff to learn from the main classes, I could just stick to those last two. They're fun enough on their own!

But d'you have any plans for when you wrap things up?

N-- not really. [His ears lower a little bit as he confesses that much.] But I figure that I'll find things to occupy myself once I'm not attending school as I've regularly been doing.
