+19+ Moving day [action/accidental voice]

The sky is relatively clear, but the incoming clouds, thick and bright against sky, hint at snowy weather around the corner. It's with that in mind that Leon (fellpool), Precis (rocketpunch), and Claude (mirrorblade) move their belongings from community building 1 to their new house, house 59.

Yep, that's right -- a trek from one side of the village to the other. There will be return trips, breaks, and maybe some unpacking going on today, so there's no shortage of places to see the trio today.

It's while Leon is rolling his teleportaton barrel that his journal falls out of his bag. He doesn't hear it over the sounds of the wood against the ground, but he is able to hear his pet cat meow in complaint behind him.]

What is it, Filia? [The journal may catch the sound of the cat meowing and Leon's footsteps as he walks back.] Man, it fell out again...? I should've just thrown it in one of the suitcases. C'mon, let's go -- this barrel isn't gonna move itself.

Heh, thanks for the offer. We should be able to manage. The hard part was figuring out what to take and what to toss.

[Filia just continues to purr pleasantly. It's not often she gets to see other people....!]

A friend from my world showed up, and our apartment wasn't big enough for the three of us. [...Yeah, that probably sounds odd, considering an apartment has three rooms.] So we needed to find an open house.

No problem. You don't have enough room to keep all of it though? [Since there's so much more room in the houses than in the apartments and all. And it seems like a shame to let things go to waste.]

Some of it wasn't worth keeping. Old shoes, old clothes and the like. [He went through quite a few pairs of shoes while going through his growth spurt.] Basically, stuff I should've tossed as I grew out of it, but ... uh, didn't.

[And then suddenly Nagisa visits all the time just to play with the cat--]

Another friend of yours is here now..? [Guessing this was during this past cycle. Hrmm.] That's nice! If it's just the three of you though, why do you need a bigger house..?

Oh. That makes sense then. It shouldn't be too difficult to dig through them all though, right? Since they're basically just things you [probably] haven't touched in a while.

If they were all cute and nice like yours, though, we totally wouldn't have a problem. It's dangerous to even go from one city to the next without a few people.

[And then Nagisa is never heard from again.]

W-- well... [He'd already had to explain it before, but he could see why it would seem weird...] We kinda need the space. Not specifically for bedrooms, but ... uh, work space.

Yeah. Most of it was already stuffed under my bed. There were still a few things I had to pick out of my closet to leave behind, though. [Since he was still growing.]

How about you? Do you think you're accumulating anything in your room?

Well it can sometimes be that way back at home too, since there are some dangerous Pokémon, so... [yeah.. :'|a Even then though...!

But now Ratty comes on over to sniff Precis' hand too...]

Not really. Or not yet, at least. It's only been a few months since I got here, so there isn't really much accumulating yet. [If at all.]

[She's going to keep petting Chuchu, though. Because she's so much cuter. ♥ In fact, her bias is kind of a bit obvious, since she barely pets Ratty before going back to Chuchu. Oops.]

So, were these guys dangerous once, then? Or are they more like pets? I mean, do you have normal animals, too?

Oh, guys. I don't think you need to worry about that.

[That's all she's going to say. That's all she has to say. It is pretty clear from that one statement what she's done.]

Did you collect things back home? [...Er. What were some things that kids collected?] Music? Movies?

There's a pretty distinct silence at that oh-so-confident declaration.

Leon groans audibly.]

Precis...

[fellpool]

[The cat is pleased. Now which cat that is...]

Er-- well-- Precis and I need space. For our projects. Especially Precis.

[mirrorblade]

[Oh dear. He's almost afraid to ask.]

...why is that, Precis?

Well, Claude gets the bedroom down here, and I already moved some of my stuff into the storage room upstairs, so I'll take the bedroom below it. I'm going to need lots of space, and it won't take me too long to build an elevator.

So, Leon gets his pick of whichever room he wants upstairs. It's pretty easy, right?

[Why is he not surprised...? Oh yeah, because Precis needed the room to build her own spaceship back on Earth.]

Y-- you're seriously going to build an elevator? I thought you were joking.

[Well. Hoped she was joking.]

[NOPE. SHOULDN'T HAVE ASKED.]

You picked out my room for me? [...well, this did explain a lot. Like why Precis wasn't really working the same way he and Leon were.] Isn't that something you should've asked me first? And do we really need an elevator? The house is only two floors.

[Ye-- Er. Mayb-- Er.]

Yeah. It was the only one that was available with two floors.

Of course! It'll be totally fine, though, I know what I'm doing. [She turns to Leon first.] There's more space upstairs, and if I build something heavy, it'll be easier for moving.

[And then, just the slightest hint of homesickness. She hasn't been home in so long.]

I had one in my own room, too, you know? So if I'm going to be here for a while, it'll be best to get it out of the way.

I guess you could pick one of the upstairs rooms, but the first floor is pretty big, too. It'd be weird having it all to myself.
