+19+ Moving day [action/accidental voice]

[Backdated to February 3.

The sky is relatively clear, but the incoming clouds, thick and bright against sky, hint at snowy weather around the corner. It's with that in mind that Leon (fellpool), Precis (rocketpunch), and Claude (mirrorblade) move their belongings from community building 1 to their new house, house 59.

Yep, that's right -- a trek from one side of the village to the other. There will be return trips, breaks, and maybe some unpacking going on today, so there's no shortage of places to see the trio today.

It's while Leon is rolling his teleportaton barrel that his journal falls out of his bag. He doesn't hear it over the sounds of the wood against the ground, but he is able to hear his pet cat meow in complaint behind him.]

What is it, Filia? [The journal may catch the sound of the cat meowing and Leon's footsteps as he walks back.] Man, it fell out again...? I should've just thrown it in one of the suitcases. C'mon, let's go -- this barrel isn't gonna move itself.

[On her way to the plaza for groceries, Nagisa happens to spot the group moving all their boxes (and barrel..). On her way back, she spots them once again... and after getting back home, she goes outside for a bit and.. sees them again. What are you guys doing. Moving...?

And so she's just watching awkwardly and tilting her head to the side a bit. And also thinking about how adorable that cat is. Kiiiitty.]

[Despite the fact that they're moving back and forth between their new and former living spaces, Leon's cat seems perfectly okay with making the multiple trips.

...Well, most of the time. Leon has to slow down in rolling a suitcase when he sees his cat stop in the middle of the road to clean herself. His expression says it all.]

[That kitty is a trooper! And Nagisa can't help but laugh a little bit when she sees it stop right there to clean itself, as well as Leon's reaction to it... Adorable kitty is adorable.]

I didn't know you had a cat, Leon.

[Leon startles a bit when he hears Nagisa, and he looks over at her with an embarrassed frown.]

Oh-- Hey, Nagisa. She usually stays inside, so... Yeah, I guess not many people see her.

[Walking on over now..]

Well, she's really cute! What's her name?

Her name's Filia. [The frown turns into a smile as the cat watches Nagisa with a lazily flopping tail.] Kind of a-- reference to this place, you know? Filial, Filia.

Filia.. [She keeps forgetting about the whole Filial thing, which is why it takes her a moment to get. Once she does though, she smiles.] That's a cute name! And it fits her, I think.

[Watching the tail flopping, she adds-] May I pet her..?

Sure. Er, if she lets you, I guess. [The tortoiseshell cat seems to understand what's going on, padding on over to Nagisa and rubbing against her ankles.] ...Well, I guess that answers that.

A-ah.. I hope she will..

[At that, Nagisa crouches down and holds her hand out to the cat. S-so cute...] Hello there, Filia!

[The cat, not much more than a big kitten, meows and rubs her head and face against Nagisa's hand. Leon walks closer, deciding that he's not going to get moving right away.]

How are you? [...] It's nice to see you walking around.

[Aaaah she's so cute and friendly... Nagisa pets her with her other hand while she does that, and then looks back up at Leon.]

I'm good! I'm feeling completely better now, so it's nice to be able to go out again... How about you, Leon?

[More like Filia is getting her scent aaaall over Nagisa, like any good cat does. ...Not that Leon is really paying attention to that.]

I'm all right -- a little tired from moving things, that's all. [He grins.] We're moving into a house today, so it can't be helped.

[Either way, it's still adorable and is letting Nagisa pet her, so..!]

Ohh... Is that what you're doing? I was wondering why you were all moving boxes and walking past here a lot... Why are you moving though?

[Filia just continues to purr pleasantly. It's not often she gets to see other people....!]

A friend from my world showed up, and our apartment wasn't big enough for the three of us. [...Yeah, that probably sounds odd, considering an apartment has three rooms.] So we needed to find an open house.

[And then suddenly Nagisa visits all the time just to play with the cat--]

Another friend of yours is here now..? [Guessing this was during this past cycle. Hrmm.] That's nice! If it's just the three of you though, why do you need a bigger house..?

[And then Nagisa is never heard from again.]

W-- well... [He'd already had to explain it before, but he could see why it would seem weird...] We kinda need the space. Not specifically for bedrooms, but ... uh, work space.

[It's worth it!

Sorry Leon! It does sound a little strange..] Work space..?

[The cat is pleased. Now which cat that is...]

Er-- well-- Precis and I need space. For our projects. Especially Precis.

[...Both?!

Precis... Oh, that must be the name of his friend.] Ohh. What kind of projects are they?

Well, you know I work on special items. [Like what he had given her.] Precis makes ... machines. She's even made a robot.

[She knows that! It's just Precis she was confused about... Leon and his friends are just all creative and make things like that, huh? Or at least it sounds like it..]

..Eh? A robot...? [..well now that she thinks of it.. there's that thing that she saw carrying some things..] Is that what's been walking around with you all..?

Oh, you saw it? [How long have you been watching, Nagisa?] That's Precis' robot, Robbie.

[Well something like that is kind of hard to miss.]

Yes, I did. I wasn't sure what it was, and it looked a little strange to me.. Your friend made that though? That's amazing..!

Y-- yeah. [Sometimes he had to admit that Precis was pretty smart.] You don't have things like that in your world? [Expel was pretty backwater, after all...]

Well, I guess we have some things that are similar to them... But even then, I haven't really seen any of them myself. [Hence confusion. ...plus none of them look anything like Robbie. They look creepier. And more robotic.]
